Life at Wexford Place
Wexford Place is a senior living community filled with people who come to work ready to serve. Each day we look forward to making a positive impact on the residents we care for and their loved ones. We value being an extension of your family and hope you feel that heart-warming sense of community each time you interact with us.
Executive Director Marsha Rufener is a life-long Kansas resident with a strong passion for serving seniors and their families. Our CARF Accreditation
Exceeding Standards in Care and Service
CARF (The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) International is an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services. CARF accreditation is an entirely voluntary process available to assisted living communities nationwide that desire to engage in a meaningful focus on excellence and continuous improvement. While CARF accreditation is voluntary, it is considered a global standard for common practices. The thorough accreditation process includes approximately 1,500 standards that, when met, exemplify a community’s commitment to putting the needs of every individual at the center of every interaction and business practice. CARF accreditation goes above and beyond state regulations to ensure a reduction of risks, transparency, and the best possible quality of care.
Why CARF Matters for You and Your Loved Ones
CARF accreditation recognizes excellence in service and care.
As part of our commitment to excellence, Senior Star at Wexford Place earned the highest level of CARF Accreditation, three-year accreditation at all levels of care. This means greater peace of mind, comfort as well as well-being for every member of the Senior Star family and it yet another way our community stands apart.
My Story: Shirley and Robin
For over two years Shirley has been a member of the Wexford Place community. Our team was able to develop a customized plan to accommodate her needs in order to find a living solution that worked for her and her loved ones.
