This marks the second year the two teams have faced off, with Jerome claiming victory in their first encounter last year.
Despite the competitive edge, both teams emphasized the importance of enjoying the game and contributing to a meaningful cause.
“It feels really good to give back to the community, I’m really grateful… it feels great,” said a participant from the event.
Another player added, “This is something we’ve been looking forward to. We played them a year ago for the same activity, which girls in the suburban schools in which they play volleyball around here are celebrating breast cancer awareness.”
