In the Kitchen with The Kenwood: Thanksgiving

At The Kenwood, we love celebrating the holidays with family and friends and we look forward to it every year. There’s nothing quite like getting the loved ones together to gather around the table to share memories, traditions and more. It all starts with a delicious aroma in the kitchen.

In addition to serving residents, we’re excited to continue the tradition of inviting residents’ friends and family members to enjoy our Thanksgiving celebration.

Our Culinary Institute of America trained chef, Robert Giesman, recently invited us into his kitchen for a sneak peek of what’s cooking at The Kenwood this Thanksgiving. Here’s what our guests can expect at the table this Thursday, Nov. 27:

In the Kitchen: Thanksgiving Menu

  • A tossed salad with assorted toppings and dressing
  • Caesar salad
  • Greek Tortellini pasta salad
  • Smoked seafood display
  • Cheese board with assorted crackers
  • Fresh fruit display
  • Carved turkey with stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce
  • Carved prime rib of beef with Jus Lie, horseradish and horseradish sauce
  • Seafood du jour
  • Mashed potatoes
  • Macaroni and cheese
  • Creamed spinach
  • Sautéed vegetable medley
  • Assorted desserts
